| February 7 - This year's Raptors just don't seem to respect the record book. Point guard Drew McCormack made 14 of 14 free throws, breaking the Bard records for most made free throws and most free throws without a miss, as Bard sent Berkeley College to a 64-54 defeat. Adam Turner was on hand to provide Willis Reed-like motivation for the Raptor faithful, and saw his team race out to a 22-11 lead. The Raptors were in control throughout. The Blue Knights had no answer for McCormack (21 points) or center Josef Woldense (17 points), unless that answer is "Our hopes of victory are nothing more than fleeting, ephemeral dreams." Next victim? Hampshire! On to Northampton. |
