| As Raptormania! has already detailed, Justin White is not merely the greatest thing since sliced bread, his reign of terror over the Skyline Conference has left sliced bread in the dust, making it virtually inedible. Let's compare the two: ACCOMPLISHMENTS THIS WEEK SLICED BREAD: 1. Continued to expedite the making of sandwiches JUSTIN WHITE 1. February 16: Scored 30 points against NESCAC foe Wesleyan, shooting 11-for-19 and committing just two turnovers in 38 minutes. 2. February 18: As a point guard, posted a double-double against SUNY-Maritime with 21 points, 11 rebounds. 3. February 19: Scored a school record 46 POINTS against Rivier College, shooting 15-for-27, 5-for-8 from three-point range, and committed just two turnovers while playing all 40 minutes in his second game in two days! Added 9 rebounds. 4. 39 points in the win over Yeshiva, but my favorite number- 40 minutes, zero turnovers. Did I mention he's the primary ball-handler? Raptormania! wants to salute Justin White: he averaged 34 points over four games in the toughest stretch of the toughest schedule Bard has ever faced. 2009-2010, when Bard welcomes additional talent both returning from injury and added in recruiting, cannot come soon enough. |
